Reports & Contact (DSA)

Information under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on digital services (Digital Services Act, DSA). This is a convenience translation; the German version prevails.

Single point of contact

For authorities of the Member States, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services (Art. 11 DSA), and for users (Art. 12 DSA):

Email: contact@anderbuch.com
Languages: German, English

We answer by electronic means and not solely by automated tools.

Reporting illegal content

Anyone can report content to us that they consider illegal or in breach of our Acceptable Use Policy (Art. 16 DSA). This mainly concerns published worlds, which are visible to others. In the application, every published world has a "Report" button; you can also email the address above.

So that we can process a report, it should contain:

  1. an explanation of why the content is illegal or breaches the policy;
  2. the exact location of the content (a link to the world, or the name of the world and its author);
  3. your name and email address — except for reports concerning child sexual abuse material, which can be made anonymously;
  4. a statement that you are making the report in good faith and that the information is accurate and complete.

We confirm receipt, review the report in a timely, diligent and objective manner, and tell you our decision. Rights holders (for example for copyright infringement) report in the same way.

When we remove content or suspend an account

When we remove or restrict content or suspend an account, we tell the person affected, with a clear and specific statement of reasons (Art. 17 DSA): what we did, on what basis (law or policy), which facts led to it, whether automated means were involved, and how to complain.

Complaining about a decision

You can complain by email to the address above within six months about a decision on a report or about a measure taken against your content or account. A complaint is reviewed by a human who, where possible, was not involved in the original decision. You may also go to court at any time.

Misuse of the reporting procedure

If someone frequently submits manifestly unfounded reports, after a prior warning we will process their reports with lower priority, or not at all, for a reasonable period (Art. 23 DSA).
